On October 25, 2023, Falun Dafa Association of Canada lead researcher Grace Wollensak shares key findings with media in Ottawa for a new report on CCP interference targeting Falun Gong practitioners in Canada. Wollensak was joined by two Falun Dafa practitioners who relayed incidents of harassment by individuals believed to be Chinese agents—including one in which a man attempted to abduct a practitioners’ young children at gunpoint.
The 100-plus-page report, published on Faluninfo Library, exposes communist China’s 24-year campaign of foreign interference and transnational repression against the Falun Gong community in Canada, with broad implications for Canadian society. According to the findings, Beijing employs tactics such as political infiltration, disinformation, manipulation, intimidation, assault, surveillance, and harassment to silence Falun Gong adherents, impede their advocacy for human rights, suppress public support and undermine Canadian society.
