Jiang Zemin, the former top leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), died last month. But ‘don’t mourn’ him—That’s the message from the Digital Outreach director of the Falun Dafa Information Center, Ben Maloney. He says the ex-CCP head was responsible for “one of the largest persecutions in world history.”
The 610 Office—the “Gestapo” of China—was created by former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin. It’s used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China. The director of the 610 Office oversees this extra-legal organization and commands the vast resources of the public security, state security, propaganda, and education ministries in China. Yet, it is precisely this director position that is known in China as the “death” position for a person’s political career in the Communist Party.
An independent people’s tribunal has unanimously concluded that prisoners of conscience have been—and continue to be—killed in China for their organs “on a significant scale,” after a year-long investigation.
