On May 4, a Moscow court ordered a female Falun Gong practitioner to be put in jail for 2 months pending and investigation for organizing activities for an “undesirable organization,” a classification given to independent media, journalists, and US think tanks.
Ms. Natalya Minenkova was among three Falun Gong practitioners and one family member detained by Russian police on May 3.
